Dr. J presented a poster on behalf of Rahma and Dr. Jay Tarnoff titled "Growth Mindset and Coping: Predicting Mental Health and Learning in Neurodiverse Adolescents." She also presented another study called "Stress, support, strengths, mental health, and stress-related growth among adolescents."

Jasmine is awarded Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP) Student Research Grant for 2024-2025 school year. She will conduct a study titled “Understanding adolescents’ responses to social exclusion: Unpacking the role of stress mindset, attribution, emotion, and thought processes" using an experimental method.

Jasmine presented her study titled "Stress mindsets and mental health: An examination of the mediating role of personal growth initiative" in the symposium which Dr. Jiang chaired and included three other studies presented by research teams from University of Maryland.

ISSBD Care Everywhere Grant supported by the Templeton World Charity Foundation
Dr. Jiang and co-PI Dr. Fu at The Hong KongPolytechnic University, Hong Kong are awarded the CARE EVERYWHERE grant initiated by the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development (ISSBD), supported by the Templeton World Charity Foundation, to conduct a mixed method study titled "Socio-cultural pathways to kindness cultivation among Thai adolescents in the context of parental migration." The grant aims to advance the understanding and nourish the development of character strengths globally. 2024 APA annual convention poster
Rahma presented a poster called "Adolescent Life Satisfaction: Growth Mindsets, Cognitive Reappraisal, and Stress Amidst COVID-19" based on her summer fellowship research study at 2024 APA annual convention, Division 16. Dr. J also mentored and co-authored another student poster along with Dr. Mueller at the University of Memphis. This poster titled "Identification with school and COVID-related stress: Buffering effects for minority youth" won the best Student Poster Award.
