Research at the cross-roads of school psychology, youth development, positive psychology, cultural contexts, and more

Development of Psychological Strengths in Youth (DePSY) research lab

About the Lab

The DePSY Lab examines the characteristics and function of psychological strengths that protect and promote positive youth development. We investigate how these psychological strengths develop in the contexts of family, school, and interpersonal relations. Our team of researchers is committed to advancing our understanding of the factors that contribute to positive psychological outcomes in children and adolescents. We aim to contribute to the development of strengths-based assessment, intervention, consultation and training efforts in schools and communities.
